OVERVIEW OF SESSION

Each session begins with a 10-15 minute intake interview, where we'll discuss your needs and I'll conduct a postural and palpation assessment if needed. If thermotherapy will be used, a blood pressure check will also be performed. Following the assessment, we'll complete your health history form together. (Note: Health History Forms my be filled in prior to the session to reduce intake interview time).

To enhance the therapeutic experience, I'll then guide you through a brief meditation incorporating deep diaphragmatic breathing with holistic energy healing. This 10 minute process that aims to quiet the mind, realign your chakras, and set a positive intention for the session.

The massage itself will then take place on the massage table. For Foot Reflexology and Full Body Shiatsu, please wear loose, breathable clothing like sweatpants, pajamas, or a bathrobe. For Swedish Massage, I'll step out to allow you to disrobe to your comfort level and position yourself on the table under the sheets.

Solfeggio Frequencies/Hertz Music: Sound healing with specific tones from ancient scales, believed to promote balance and healing by resonating with energy centers (chakras).
White Sage: Smudging with white sage to cleanse negative energy, promote healing, and offer protection.
Epsom Salts: Added to footbaths to soothe sore muscles, improve sleep, and aid digestion.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Optional footbath addition with antifungal, antibacterial, and skin-softening properties.
Essential Oils (Aromatherapy): Natural plant extracts used for stress reduction, sleep improvement, pain relief, and relaxation through inhalation (e.g. portable diffuser) or skin application when mixed with carrier oils. For selection follow the following link.

Massage Oils & Creams: Used in Reflexology and Swedish Massage sessions. Includes carrier oils (almond oil, fractionated coconut oil, holly oil – a nut-free option) and hydrating massage cream, combined with your choice of essential oil.
Hot Thermotherapy: Uses a 14” x 14” Thermaphore electronic heating pad, providing deep moist heat (150-165°F) for 10-20 minutes during Swedish Massage. Pre-treatment blood pressure reading required to check for contraindications.

WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS USED IN THE HEALTH HISTORY FORM?

The rationale for collecting health information based on these assessments is to provide a safe and effective massage that is tailored towards the client’s individual health requirements. WHAT ARE YOUR POLICIES?

At Earth Jaguar Holistic Massage, your time, comfort, and well-being are my highest priorities. These policies are in place to ensure a smooth, respectful, and mindful experience for both client and practitioner.

Bookings & Payments: New clients require a 50% deposit, the remaining balance for other sessions is due at your appointment. Special events, group booking or Extended Sessions (90+ minutes) require full payment at booking to reserve your date and time. All treatments are mobile / outcall services only.
Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule without losing your deposit.
No-Shows: Failure to show up for your appointment will result in being charged the full session price. I will wait 15 minutes before the appointment is considered a “no-show”.
Refunds: Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled appointment if proper notice is given. If I must cancel or reschedule, any deposit / prepayment will be fully refunded OR applied to a rescheduled session, as you prefer.
Draping: A sheet will be used to keep you covered at all times. Only the area being worked on will be exposed. Breast and genital areas are always fully covered and never massaged.
Professional Conduct: Zero tolerance for sexually inappropriate or aggressive behaviour, including but not limited to harassment, racial discrimination, verbal abuse or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Any such behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session and forfeiture of the 50% deposit, at the massage practitioners’ discretion.
Mobile Service Fee: An additional travel fee of $2.00 per km to locations more than 12 km from The Shipyards, North Vancouver.
